Junior Software Engineer, Custody Value Stream (80-100%)

Tasks

As a Junior Software Engineer in the Custody Value Stream, you will be part of an agile Scrum team focused on developing secure, scalable, and innovative solutions for our digital asset management services. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Active participation in the development of new features and improvements by writing and reviewing high-quality, secure code with comprehensive test coverage
• Continuous improvement of application quality and security, identification of existing technical debt, and creation of plans for remediation
• Respond promptly and efficiently to production incidents, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity
• Collaborate with platform engineers to improve CICD pipelines and optimize release processes
• Collaborate with SRE engineers and solution architects to optimize application availability, resilience, and observability

What sets you apart

• Expert knowledge of Java and/or Typescript or similar OOP languages
• Experience in a finance-related industry, such as Spring or Quarkus
• Good knowledge of software security
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture
• Expertise in working with databases
• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and the ability to implement complex functionalities with high quality and security
• Experience with distributed Kafka systems is an advantage
• Work experience with Docker and containerization
• Experience with Kubernetes is an advantage
• Experience with AWS is an advantage
