Junior Trader

Job description

Junior Trader (80-100%) to join our team in Basel.

Tasks

• Ensuring efficient trading
• Active cooperation with our client advisory services in Basel, Zurich, and Olten, Trafina Privatbank AG, and external asset managers
• Assistance in maintaining relationships with banks, brokers, and external asset managers
• Efficient and independent handling of securities, money market, and foreign exchange trading
• Monitoring price data (including foreign exchange) and administrative tasks in business with external asset managers and banks
• Support in cash management and in promoting securities sales

Requirements

• Completed commercial or equivalent basic training and several years of professional experience at a bank (e.g., BEM banking internship)
• Quick comprehension and organizational flair
• Interest in economic issues and stock market developments
• You enjoy working with numbers and like working in a team, accurately, on time, and with attention to detail.
• You use MS Office efficiently and expertly in your daily work.
• You value teamwork and interacting with people, and you are reliable, discreet, and committed.
• You communicate stylishly in German and English.
