JUNIOR TRADER OR GRADUATE FOR RETAIL FLOW BUSINESS (BASED IN ZURICH OR FRANKFURT)

About the job

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and tech savvy individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our dynamic Retail Flow Business trading team, either at our headquarters in Zurich or in our Frankfurt office.

In this role you will play a key role in the issuance and trading of financial products across multiple asset classes on a state of the art platform. You will work on front-to-back issues across the value chain, including pricing, product lifecycle management, process optimization and risk mitigation.

What you will do

• Monitor and manage risks arising from the issuance and trading of structured products
• Familiarize yourself with product dynamics, trading systems and risk processes
• Provide timely and competitive quotes to the sales and structuring teams to ensure market parameters are accurately maintained
• Check trading entries and systematically maintain book positions
• Perform ad hoc operations to support the switch
• Ensure coverage of order acceptance and execution
• Support senior traders in their daily activities
• Contribute to the development of trading infrastructure to improve automation and scalability in collaboration with internal teams
• Work closely with trade colleagues to share insights on risks, processes, flows and strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments and subsidiaries

What you need

• Master's degree in quantitative finance, economics, engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in financial markets and Leonteq's product range
• Ability to work independently, accurately and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of option theories
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Excellent communication skills, combined with a collaborative and positive attitude
• High motivation, precision and a structured, methodical approach to work
• Knowledge of VBA or another programming language (preferably higher level)
• Flexibility to cover European and US market times as required
• Fluency in business English
