Credit Specialist (m/f)
Glarner Kantonalbank is seeking a Credit Specialist (m/f) for its Credit Center in Bern to manage and administer mortgages for third-party providers. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing loan transactions, handling loan applications, and managing loan collateral.
Tasks
- Independent and timely processing, initiation, and disbursement of credit transactions (particularly new transactions, increases, product renewals, and review submissions)
- Independent processing of loan applications, including entering and updating transactions in the existing systems (Softlink & Finnova)
- Management of electronic customer files
- Recording of credit applications, taking into account the specifications of B2B customers
- Making the necessary clarifications and conducting correspondence with the parties involved in the credit transaction (in particular notaries, land registries, other banks)
- Management of loan collateral (including notifications, safekeeping of physical collateral, and requests for reallocation)
- Management of internal accounts and accounts of B2B customers
Requirements
- Basic commercial training (EFZ) – preferably at a bank or a financial institution affiliated with a bank
- Requirements > 2 years of banking experience in the field of finance (front or back office)
- Language skills: German (native language) with preferably good French skills or French (native language) with very good German skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and, ideally, experience working with a core banking system such as Finnova or Avaloq
- High level of personal responsibility, reliable with high quality standards
