Customer Service Representative - Vice President (all genders)
The position of Vice President of Client Services at JPMorgan Chase in Fort Knox, Kentucky, involves providing strategic support to clients in the Securities Services division, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration and improving the client experience. Job Summary
- As a Vice President in the Client Services business unit, you will work as part of a successful team supporting strategic clients with a focus on cross-functional client care.
- In this role, you will be part of a team consisting of product and platform specialists, client and sales representatives, and other cross-functional specialists who will be responsible for delivering secure solutions to your clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as an integrated, full-service sales support specialist for operations.
- Serve as a centralized, trusted source of insights into products, pricing, and client processes to ensure cross-functional collaboration on account and asset servicing, related client processes, and client retention across all client sales engagements.
- Lead the preparation, verification, and consultation regarding custody (notify clients via digital messaging or phone).
- Develop and nurture client relationships at the firm level with cross-functional counterparts.
- Identify and drive ongoing operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs by implementing new service procedures, simplifying processes, and implementing new policies and procedures.
- A strong working relationship with counterparts in Global Markets, including equity, fixed income, and derivatives.
- Serve as the first point of contact for retail investors, manage equities in retail asset pools, and collaborate with sales teams to grow total assets under custody.
- Develop and maintain a sales enablement package for active out-of-the-box product launches.
- Partner with a wider range of stakeholders and account management teams, including the client relationship officer, to work on:
- Client management, relationship-building, and service deliverables that enhance the overall customer experience.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Eligible candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or have equivalent knowledge of securities products, including research, regulation, accounting, capital markets, and fund derivatives.
- Has a broad understanding of various asset classes (equities), including exposure to total return strategies.
- Familiarity with financial institutions, such as banks.
- Communication and relationship-building skills that have proven effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, along with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a focus on financial or legal writing, the ability to influence and persuade, and a strong sense of motivation.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of results, show leadership in seeing tasks through to completion, and drive client accounts toward growth and strong outcomes. Will go the extra mile to provide excellent service to ensure clients achieve their desired results.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time to various geographic locations and countries.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Knowledge of the global regulatory framework (SEC) with a strong focus on Wall Street products.
- A deep understanding of how to succeed in various areas of global finance, such as hedge fund administration, investment banking, and other service providers.
- Experience working on, contributing to, and developing new business initiatives.
- Experience with strategic client distribution and change management.
- Knowledge for various foreign and global distribution channels.
