The position as a customer service employee at Aargauische Kantonalbank (AKB) involves advising and supporting customers on banking-related topics, handling customer service tasks at the cash desk and maintaining customer data. The position requires an empathetic and customer-oriented way of working as well as experience in the banking sector or a solid basic education.

Job description

Tasks

  • You represent AKB in contact and empathize with our customers with the necessary tact and a friendly smile.
  • You provide advice on banking-related topics, news, new inquiries and existing customers and maintain an overview.
  • You also maintain customer data at the Learning Desk, where you manage our various digital channels and connect our customers when necessary.
  • You are responsible for handling customer service at the cash desk (deposits/withdrawals, change) with the necessary discretion and understanding for the emotional state of our customers.
  • You are able to match the potential of customers to their needs and develop it further.

Requirements

  • This function is suitable for people with learning aptitude.
  • You are the first point of contact for customers and can respond to their needs and have already gained experience in the banking sector or have successfully taken the first step into an apprenticeship with solid basic training.
  • You will use your existing knowledge of products and services in basic banking to pass these on to our customers.
  • An easy day for you means working in close contact with our customers and handling their needs.
  • Working in a team with other employees is just as important to you as working independently.
