KYC Officer (Career Returner Program)

Job description

The Central KYC department is responsible for conducting customer checks, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring of business relationships within Man Group. This role ensures compliance with AML/CFT regulatory requirements while enabling business growth through efficient KYC procedures and proactive risk management.

Tasks

• Implementation and maintenance of KYC systems and processes
• Conducting risk assessments and reviewing KYC reports for business relationships in accordance with Man Group's risk profile and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with business partners to obtain necessary information and KYC documentation
• Responding to regulatory inquiries and concerns
• Review and resolution of screening results against sanctions, PEPs, and adverse information
• Updating KYC matrices and managing records
• Preparation of management information and KYC metrics
• Support for projects to identify and manage unfavorable media
• Maintaining accurate records in KYC systems and ensuring data quality
• Identification and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and control effectiveness

Requirements

• Experience in KYC/AML, preferably at a Tier 1 bank or in the financial services sector
• Experience with complex fund structures
• Understanding of global AML/KYC regulations and regulatory testing practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate risks to senior stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience with KYC platforms
