Lead Architect, Order Management, 100% (f/m/d)
As Lead Architect for Order Management at Julius Baer in Zurich, you will be responsible for the further development of the application landscape and for defining target architectures for the order management division. You will serve as the liaison between the business and IT, guide architectural decisions, and coordinate their implementation by system architects.

About the Role
- You are a member of the Lead Architects team within Global IT Architecture. Together with your colleagues from the Foundation and System Architecture teams, you are responsible for the future evolution of the application landscape.
- As a Lead Architect for Order Management, you serve as the bridge between the business and IT.
- You manage one order management architecture domain and one cross-cutting architecture domain.
- You are responsible for architectural decisions within your domain and present overarching decisions to higher-level architecture committees.
- You ensure that architecture standards are followed within your domain.
- You define target architectures to plan the medium- to long-term evolution of the architecture layers: Business, Application, Data, and Technology.
- Your target architectures are aligned with business stakeholders and cross-functional architects to ensure that they are both technically and economically feasible.
- You coordinate system architects to implement the target architecture.
- You review architecture artifacts such as solution blueprints.
Your Profile
- At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Architect with architecture responsibilities, such as Lead Architect, Domain Architect, or Enterprise Architect, in a large organization.
- At least 3 years of experience in banking trading or order management.
- A strong customer focus and the ability to deliver solutions.
- A strong interest in tracking and identifying new technology trends and subsequently integrating them into the business domain across all four application layers (Business, Application, Data, Technology).
- Convincing business and IT stakeholders through strategic, solution-oriented thinking and diplomatic behavior.
- Master's degree in engineering, e.g., from ETH or a technical university.
- Hands-on experience in software engineering and the design of software architectures.
- Optional: Hands-on experience with IBM OTMS.
- Optional: TOGAF or SAFE certification.
