Job description: Lead Auditor

Your role

As a Lead Auditor at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will independently conduct audits of private banking-related topics in Switzerland and international locations such as Monaco, London, Panama and Dubai after an intensive induction phase.

Your tasks

• Assume the role of lead auditor, including goal-oriented and timely planning, independent execution and timely communication of end-to-end audit results
• Writing comprehensive reports
• Function as a sparring partner for management
• Monitoring the implementation of measures
• Preparation of statements for the Head of Group Internal Audit, the Board of Directors or line decision-makers
• Participation in special studies and projects
• Function as a technical expert in the front office area (cross-border and/or investment suitability)

Your profile

• Completed banking apprenticeship, higher business administration (university/university of applied sciences), CIA, CPA, CFA or similar; a degree in auditing is an advantage
• 5 years experience as lead auditor in banking audit (bank or audit firm) and in front office related topics such as cross-border or investment suitability
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of Avaloq is an advantage
• Ability to weigh up problems and set priorities, as well as strong analytical skills
• Strong work ethic, integrity and a high level of responsibility
• Ability to work with different interest groups
• Practical mentality and ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel abroad (approx. 40-50 days per year)
• Fluency in German and English; fluency in French or Spanish is an advantage
