Head of Corporate Communications Greater China
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Lead Corporate Communications professional for Greater China to develop and implement an effective communications strategy that supports the company’s strategic objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with the Market Head for Greater China and other senior executives to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy.
Job description
As Corporate Communications Lead for Greater China, you will develop and execute a highly effective communications strategy that supports the bank’s strategic objectives, with a particular focus on Greater China. You will work closely with the Market Head for Greater China and senior leaders in Hong Kong and Singapore to provide trusted communications advice and execution.Tasks
You will oversee all aspects of corporate communications in Greater China and work closely with the regional team on communications initiatives in Asia, including:- media relations
- Issues and reputation management
- Internal and executive communication
- Social media
- Award submissions

Requirements
You have:- A college degree in journalism, communication, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in financial and corporate communications, acquired in the financial sector
- Extensive experience working with senior leaders and managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Established media relationships, coupled with a solid understanding of the media landscape in Hong Kong and China
- Proven experience in issues and reputation management, with proactive advice and rapid response to emerging risks
- Practical experience managing social media platforms, particularly WeChat, as well as online editorial and video content
- Proven ability to deliver effective internal communications via leadership memos, town halls, employee newsletters, and intranet platforms
- Experience managing award programs, including APB and Euromoney, and coordinating industry presentations
- Ability to manage external agencies and suppliers to ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective communication delivery
- Experience in monitoring local business continuity management communications to support an effective response to incidents and crises
