Lead, Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

Lead Cyber Security Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, upgrading, administering, and supporting network devices (firewalls, Access Data VDI, Exchange, and all Microsoft servers), Load All DCI Gateway solutions, and IP telephony (Mitel 5340 and Cisco IP 2801) for the IT infrastructure and the corporate network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the administration of Oracle UL (Microsoft PowerUp) DA QN, RiskSUIT SDA, and other corporate software.
• Lead and oversee the implementation of IP telephony systems (Mitel), enterprise wireless networks, and mobile devices.
• Design and support IAP security architectures, including: computing, networking, failover, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Design, implement, and manage IAP security systems, gateway access, and integration solutions.
• Develop and implement integrated communications and communication systems.
• Perform fault analysis, pre-upgrade assessments, pre-upgrade readiness validation, and operational readiness reviews.
• Monitor security systems, integrate computer systems, and support rapid detection and response mechanisms.
• Suggest and recommend changes to VAPs and workflows, with a specific focus on their compliance with corporate information and security standards, as well as LVC requirements where applicable.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor compliance with corporate policies on information, security, and LVC as required.
• Communicate technical knowledge, engineering processes, upgrade requirements, and implementation results.

Required Profile Skill Sets

• Configure the IP settings for routers and firewalls, and set up the switching and VPN environments.
• Perform load testing of VPNs, IDS, IPS, and firewalls; assess system performance; and monitor operating and voice services.
• Monitor and maintain Active Directory.
• Three years of experience managing both production and testing environments.
• Strong operational knowledge of IAP and its operational and IT aspects.
• Administer servers.
• Configure the switch.
• Perform firmware upgrades.
• Evaluate the existing network and develop recommendations.
• Respond to alerts generated in real time to determine the root cause.
• Perform preventive and corrective inspections of production systems.
• Validate network changes or enhancements.
• Participate in on-call/on-demand support and problem-solving.
• Participate in network troubleshooting and identifying the root causes of problems.
• Ability to quickly identify the root cause of problems.
• Ability to document problem resolution.

Work Hours

Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some travel possible.
