Lead -End User Computing (EUC) Governance, Controls & QA - D&T Enablement

The Lead - End User Computing (EUC) Governance, Controls & QA is responsible for the implementation of EUC governance, controls and quality assurance in a large financial organization. The role requires experience in EUC remediation, governance and change initiatives as well as strong communication and influencing skills.

Job description

Tasks

  • Execute EUC governance monitoring and remediation capabilities
  • Process, data and risk management expert, understanding of data and architecture to support remediation/elimination of EUCs
  • Ensure adherence and compliance with EUC policies, standards and procedures and manage go-live of changes
  • Collaborate with business and functional experts and technology experts to support EUC governance and management tools
  • Support in the design and implementation of RCIA's to support Quality Assurance (QA) and First Line Credible Challenges (FLCC)
  • Operational implementation of a robust EUC inventory system with appropriate controls in collaboration with technology and various stakeholders
  • EUC inventory monitoring, EUC remediation tracking and insightful reporting
  • Working with EUC champions to manage new EUC creation and registration processes
  • Support and independent verification of intervention data (new EUCs and exceptions), exception monitoring
  • Support for planning and change control processes for Risk & Control Enablement (RCE)

Requirements

  • Must be a strong team player, willing to contribute when needed
  • 10+ years experience required
  • Experience as a senior directed contributor and ability to achieve complex business objectives in a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong program and project management skills
  • Experience in technology and data, including large transformation programs with a focus on EUC risk management and/or remediation
  • Specific expertise in one or more of the following areas: Enterprise Risk Management, GRC, Control and Risk Management, Operational Risk, Operational Resilience, Liquidity
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Articulate and effective communication
  • Strong people skills and experience of working in complex operational environments
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct functional competence
  • 'No-surprise' approach to communicating problems and requests
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven history of delivering positive and sustainable change
  • Knowledge of general information security and governance concepts and methods such as policy management, risk assessments, control tests, etc.
  • Understanding data and technology requirements to support regulatory expectations
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in business administration, operations, data or technology

Preferred skills

  • Understanding of key bank regulations
  • Good understanding of SOX and Agile scrum methodologies to deliver solutions
  • Experience in information security, risk management and project management
  • Experience in Line 2, Line 3, Line 1.5 with a focus on technology or audit or quality assurance
  • Understanding and experience with ICBS 239
  • Remediation with a focus on technology and data in a GCB
