Lead, Enterprise Architect

As a Lead Enterprise Architect at Northern Trust, you will lead the modernization of legacy systems for electronic check processing and the rollout of the new NTCheck platform. The role involves defining the architectural strategy, developing microservices using Python and Java/.NET, and automating processes in close collaboration with innovation and product teams.

Tasks

  • Design and architecture of application solutions using web, build, and evaluation platforms that leverage modern development components
  • Developing visions and notes for collaboration with app, product, and tech teams to build and operate cost-effective, secure, and resilient applications
  • Oversight of the Design/Concept of a Microservices-Based System Architecture
  • Providing technical expertise and mentoring to junior architects on the team
  • Evaluation of solutions through the use and leveraging of existing tools and technologies (e.g., Azure Sentinel, Capital Studio, CyberArk, RPA, etc.)
  • Contribution to Process Automation, Orchestration Logic, and Integration Points
  • Automation of continuous deployment and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes, etc.)
  • Collaboration with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and Integration Points
  • Defining the design and structure in collaboration with product partners and teams
  • Support in developing solutions to ensure alignment between technical and business requirements (e.g., digital audit and data protection controls)
  • Support for vendor onboarding processes (e.g., NPS, SOC, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Design and architecture of application systems using build, web, and evaluation platforms that leverage modern development components
  • Overseeing the design/concept of a microservices-based application architecture, patterns, and tool changes for building internal infrastructure in real time
  • Defining and creating the necessary software packages, etc., using agile, web-based development tools such as Node.js, Python, etc.
  • Creating integrations by using and leveraging existing tools and technologies (e.g., Azure Sentinel, Capital Studio, CyberArk, RPA, etc.)
  • Automation of continuous deployment and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Sentinel, etc.)
  • Collaboration with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and Integration Teams
  • Definition of design, structure, and partnerships with product and integration partners

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Python (required), Java/.NET/.NET Core, C#, and scripting
