Lead – High Risk Issue Validation and Issue Governance & Oversight

Tasks:

• Escalate complex and high-priority risk issues to management and senior leadership for resolution
• Readiness for validation and review of artifacts
• Validation results and feedback
• Quality and risk assessment of problems
• Evaluate remediation plans and ensure that they are sustainable
• Monitor and manage issues, including coordinating issue review forums, validating high-risk issues, and tracking action items to completion
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness and maturity of problem management processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of control and risk frameworks and security domains (e.g., vulnerability and threat management, IAM, data protection, application security, network and system security)
• Experience in a regulated environment and working with audit and regulatory bodies to resolve issues and support evidence
• Preferred industry certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CIGRC
