Lead - Infrastructure Audit Preparation and Oversight

Tasks

• Assist Northern Trust in preparing for regional/global Thrust Audit Assessment (PIA) audits and support the audit assurance of the defined objectives.
• Supporting teams in preparing for the requirements that are evaluated in the risk assessment processes.
• Support regular reporting and conduct all ongoing assessments to outline the next steps.
• Support collaboration with platform teams to identify areas where the design and operational effectiveness of processes and controls within the infrastructure design can be assessed.
• Establishing and maintaining working relationships and collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Ensuring team effectiveness and team dynamics by leveraging strong colleagues and trustworthy team structures.
• Work closely with digital and infotype components to develop and implement audit and enforcement measures that align with the overarching compliance teams.

Requirements

• Audit expertise with at least 8 years of experience in internal audit.
• At least 4 years of experience in the financial services sector.
• A thorough understanding of the regulations, rules, and controls in the financial services sector.
• Experience working with regulatory authorities and conducting internal audits.
• Ability to drive internal policies, protocols, leadership, and reporting standards.
• Proven ability to build relationships and work with colleagues at all levels within the organization.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to influence and lead others through well-thought-out, solution-oriented recommendations in order to drive organizational change.
