LEAD IT ARCHITECT

About the role

• As our Lead IT Architect, you will design the technology landscape that supports our business units, software engineering teams, and infrastructure specialists, and champion business solutions.
• In this role, you will define our technology roadmap, lead key technical decisions, and collaborate with our teams to ensure that our technology is fit for purpose, promotes architectural consistency, and delivers high-quality solutions.
• As a Senior Technical Leader, you will help foster a collaborative culture in which innovation is encouraged and continuous improvement is an integral part of how we work.

Tasks

• Leading and mentoring software engineering teams, fostering collaboration and innovation, and driving engineering excellence.
• Drive the development of the enterprise application landscape and contribute to the technical roadmap.
• Establishing and promoting architectural standards, development best practices, and sustainable solutions to create robust technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business units and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
• Reviewing solution designs to ensure consistency with security, performance, scalability, integration, and compliance requirements.
• Supporting the successful implementation of strategic technology initiatives through architectural oversight and technical decision-making.
• Evaluating emerging technologies and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, performance, innovation, and operational resilience.
• Coaching and supporting engineers and technical leads; promoting knowledge sharing, professional development, and best practices.
• Development and maintenance of architectural documentation, standards, and technical roadmaps.
• Ensure that technology solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in software architecture, enterprise architecture, and solution architecture in a complex IT environment.
• Proven experience leading software engineering initiatives and mentoring technical teams, with the ability to inspire collaboration and foster high performance.
• A strong understanding of software architecture, system integration, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance strategic and technical considerations.
• Knowledge of financial markets, trading operations, and the associated regulatory requirements within dynamic business teams.
• A high degree of flexibility, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
