Tasks

• Responsible for understanding the business needs that require the development of security policies and patterns
• Collaboration with relevant teams and development of security blueprints and patterns
• Help with the automation of processes that affect security patterns
• Ensure that security blueprints are current and up to date to reflect relevant changes in the technology layer
• Ensure that security blueprints are clearly defined and easily accessible to the application teams
• Measuring the effectiveness of security blueprint templates and guidelines
• Collaborate with applications, enterprise architecture and cloud team members to understand challenges and update documents/processes accordingly
• Ensure that security blueprints comply with standards, guidelines and known frameworks (NIST, Zero Trust, etc.)
• Coordination with information security function leads for policy and template development
• Ensure that blueprints, templates and policies are well aligned with the information security strategy
• Optimization of processes through the use of new technologies (e.g. AI)
• Introduction of "Secure by Design" practices in the development of security blueprints

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and experience in information security or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Excellent consultative and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, partners and IT management and staff
• Six years of industry experience with at least four years in a mainstream information security role preferred
• CISSP, CISM, CISMA or Security+ certification preferred
• Strong collaboration and analytical skills
• Deep knowledge of application or infrastructure system architecture, usually with experience in multiple system technologies

Specialist knowledge

• Very organized and collaborative
• Very good understanding of Zero Trust architecture, identity, authentication and authorization, data protection and experience with relevant tools/technologies
• Knowledge of AI, scripting, automation and programming languages is a plus
• Must have knowledge of cloud technologies
• Knowledge of basic network technologies is required
• Knowledge of networks related to cloud technologies, authentication and authorization technologies is required
• Understanding of network protocols, authentication, endpoint security, API security, containers and network security is required
