Job description

Lead Software Architect - Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) 100% (m/f/d) - (Contract through our external payroll partner until 31.12.2026 with possible extension)

Tasks

• Design and management of software architectures for the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) program - a strategic initiative
• Creation and promotion of Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), coordinated with company and domain architecture boards
• Standardization of tools, libraries and development practices across teams; promotion of reuse and consistency
• Advise and guide software engineers and tech leads on solution concepts to ensure technical feasibility and compliance
• Promoting observability, logging and DevOps best practices across hybrid cloud and on-premise environments
• Work closely with product teams, application owners and global architecture forums to design target state concepts
• Contribute to the global domain architecture board, review blueprints and promote a consistent architectural direction

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• 5+ years as a software architect, plus 5+ years in senior/senior engineering roles
• Proven experience as owner of end-to-end software architecture; design, implementation and operation
• Strong understanding of modern architectural styles: microservices, event-driven systems, modular monoliths
• Expertise in integration patterns, Kafka, data streaming, Kubernetes and hybrid cloud platforms
• Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g. banks); familiarity with KYC, onboarding or client data management is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAFE/agile delivery models and the role of architecture within them
