Lead Software Engineer - DevOps & Agile Delivery 80% - 100% (f/m/d)Tasks
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies as part of a DevOps-centric approach
- Working with solution architects to design software solutions that are aligned with Julius Baer's overall architectural vision
- Active participation in our software engineering communities, sharing knowledge and supporting others
- Delivery of high quality code aligned with Julius Baer guidelines and standards
- Active participation or potential leadership of the JB-wide Tech Leads Community of Practice
Requirements
Profile
- You have a "can-do" attitude, are pragmatic and open-minded
- Entrepreneurial mindset, your ideas are welcome
- Proven experience in software development using industry standards such as test-driven development with TDD & BDD
- Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and the importance and value of automated testing
- Willingness to learn new ways of working while supporting Julius Baer's transformation
- You take pride in your work and strive to lead by example
Education and skills
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or another related field, or proven relevant work experience
- JAVA development environment, CI/CD pipelining / GitLab
- Service-oriented architecture, RESTful services
- SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres)
- Angular, React, both JavaScript and Typescript
- Kubernetes (PKS) and virtual machines
- Streaming with Kafka, Avro
- Open API, UML
- Very good knowledge of English
