As Lead Software Engineer - DevOps & Agile Delivery, you will be part of a cross-functional team and responsible for developing software solutions that align with Julius Baer's overall architecture vision. You will apply agile methods and DevOps principles and develop solutions together with other teams.

Tasks
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team using agile methods as part of a DevOps-centered approach
- Work with solution architects to design software solutions that align with Julius Baer's overall architectural vision.
- Actively participate in software engineering communities, share knowledge, and help others
- Deliver high quality code that complies with Julius Baer policies and standards
- Actively participate in or potentially lead the JB-wide Tech Leads Community of Practice
Requirements

- Experience in software development with industry standards such as test-driven development with TDD & BDD
- Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and the importance and value of automated testing

Required education and skills
- Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or proven relevant professional experience
- JAVA development environment, CI/CD pipeline / GitLab
- Service-oriented architecture, RESTful services
- SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, Postgres)
- Angular, React, both JavaScript and Typescript
- Kubernetes (PKS) and virtual machines
- Streaming with Kafka, Avro
- Open API, UML
- Very good knowledge of English
