Lead Software Engineer
The job posting is for a position as Lead Software Engineer at Northern Trust in Pune, India, where the applicant will work as a Salesforce specialist and developer. The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting and developing Salesforce applications and leading a team.
Tasks
The main tasks include:- Function as a Salesforce specialist and developer to support multiple Salesforce applications
- Monitoring of daily operations, maintenance, and support of Salesforce
- Managing team workload and incident/request tracking with ServiceNow
- Daily administration and support of the Salesforce CRM system
- Development of triggers, custom objects, Lightning flows, Visualforce pages, and Apex/batch classes
- Creation of custom reports and dashboards within Salesforce CRM
- Support and improvement of CQP processes
- Collaboration with solution architects, product teams, and other employees
- Implementation of data management activities
- Leading the Salesforce team in NT-GPM and critical incident calls
- Conducting unit and system tests
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Identification and proactive mitigation of high-risk areas
- Cross-training of colleagues and mentoring of junior employees
Requirements
The requirements include:- Practical experience with OmniStudio and OmniScripts
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting integration issues
- Development experience with Apex code and batch classes
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to translate business requirements into Salesforce solutions
- Experience with agile methods and tools
- Experience with Salesforce deployments using Copado and GitHub
- Strong communication and interaction skills
Additional preferred knowledge and skills
Additional preferred knowledge and skills include:- Certification as a Salesforce Administrator
- Certification as a Salesforce Platform Developer or App Builder
- Certification for Salesforce CQP
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning tools
- Experience with debugging and test automation tools
