Learning & Development Program Manager

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Learning & Development Program Manager (80–100%, f/m/d) who will serve as a key partner to business leaders on L&D matters and design and implement customized development programs for employees. The ideal candidate has at least 5–7 years of experience in a corporate Learning & Development environment and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Tasks

As a Learning & Development Program Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Serve as a key point of contact for senior business leaders on L&D-related topics across multiple non-customer-facing functions, leading needs assessments, design, planning, and delivery of tailored development initiatives that align with strategic priorities and targeted business outcomes.
  • They serve as the primary point of contact for your programs or initiatives (including the target audience and all relevant stakeholders) and work closely with internal experts to design and implement training activities.
  • Manage external training providers (selection, contract signing, quality management, budgeting).
  • Actively participate in other learning and development initiatives within the team and across the entire Julius Baer Academy to promote lifelong learning among employees and enhance the bank’s competitive advantage.

Requirements

For this position, we are looking for a candidate with:
  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in banking and finance, business administration, or education, teaching, or psychology, ideally supplemented by additional coursework or certifications in business administration, banking, human resources, education, psychology, or adult education.
  • At least 5–7 years of professional experience in a corporate learning and development environment.
  • Business acumen and a solid understanding of the wealth management industry, with the ability to translate stakeholder needs into effective L&D solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a genuine commitment to service excellence.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and hands-on; someone who takes the initiative and sees things through reliably (a “can-do” attitude).
