**LEGAL COUNSEL**
The position of Legal Counsel at Leonteq in Zurich involves providing legal advice on Swiss and international capital market issues, particularly in the area of regulatory and securities law. The role also includes reviewing and drafting contracts, assuming responsibility for corporate governance and implementing legal and regulatory developments.

What you will do
- Legal advice on Swiss and international capital market issues (in particular regulatory and securities law matters and civil law issues).
- Legal documentation and participation in product classes.
- Legal issues in connection with outsourcing and third-party risk management, pension and insurance law, corporate and commercial law.
- Legal issues in projects such as strategic transformation projects of the Group, audit and regulatory inquiries, projects to set up new businesses (cloud).
- Legal assessment, drafting and structuring of (bespoke) agreements and commercial contracts, including but not limited to service agreements, intra-group service level agreements, index licenses, distribution agreements (both sides) and related documentation.
- Legal assessment, review and/or drafting of group-related documentation, including but not limited to drafting of policies, review of marketing materials, review and drafting of protection issues, review of press releases.
- Review and set-up of financial products, complex financial transactions and SPV structures.
- Assuming responsibility for corporate governance and commercial matters and preparing related documentation.
- Implementing national and international legal and regulatory developments, laws and regulations relevant to the Leonteq Group and assuming the role of Legal Project Manager when required.
What you need
- Master's degree in law
- Admission to the Swiss Bar
- At least 4-5 years of experience (Post-Qualification Experience, PQE)
- Knowledge of Swiss financial market law, regulations and supervisory law
- Interest and experience in legal issues, national and international financial markets and financial instrument derivatives regulations
- Expertise in structured products and/or OTC derivatives
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Fluent in German and English

- Knowledge of other languages
- Knowledge of European market law
