LEGAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST (TRANSACTION LAWYER)

Job description

LEGAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST (TRANSACTION LAWYER) in Lisbon, working 100% in the Legal & Compliance department.

Tasks

  • Drafting of legal documents/templates for structured financial products across all asset classes (e.g., final terms/price supplements)
  • Joint responsibility for several base prospectuses
  • Review of legal documents for structured financial products in accordance with internal and external guidelines
  • Participation in (regulatory) projects and initiatives
  • Support with the automation of processes and regulatory documents
  • Maintaining relationships with internal and external parties (law firms, regulatory authorities, and stock exchanges) regarding legal documentation and related processes
  • Responding to regulatory inquiries and questions regarding structured financial products in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders (e.g., Product Management, Middle Office, Trading)
  • Providing internal advisory services regarding the documentation, issuance, and listing of structured products, as well as regulatory and legal implementation issues

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in law or finance/economics with a strong interest in law and regulation
  • Experience in the financial sector
  • Knowledge of financial derivatives and structured products
  • Strong interest in complex and emerging legal and regulatory issues
  • Willingness to further expand knowledge of structured products
  • A detail-oriented approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to manage one's own goals and priorities
  • Fluent Business English
