LEGAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST / TRANSACTION LAWYER
The position of Legal Documentation Specialist / Transaction Lawyer at Leonteq in Lisbon involves drafting and reviewing legal documents for structured financial products and supporting regulatory projects. The focus is on the documentation of financial products and the cooperation with internal and external parties.

What you will do
- Drafting of legal documents/templates for structured financial products across all asset classes (e.g. final terms/price supplements)
- Person primarily responsible for several basic prospectuses
- Review of legal documentation for financial products in accordance with internal and external guidelines
- Contribution to (regulatory) projects and initiatives
- Support with the automation of processes and regulatory documents
- Managing relationships with internal and external parties (lawyers, regulators and stock exchanges) in relation to legal documentation and related processes
- Answering regulatory inquiries and questions on financial products together with all relevant stakeholders (e.g. product management, middle office, trading)
- Internal advice on the documentation, issuance and listing of structured products as well as regulatory and legal implementation issues
What you need
- Master's degree in law or finance/economics with a strong interest in legal and regulatory issues
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the financial sector, ideally in a legal or regulatory function
- Proven ability to handle complex matters independently
- In-depth knowledge of financial derivatives and structured products
- Strong interest in complex and new legal and regulatory topics
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently and under pressure, manage own goals and set priorities
- Fluent in English as a business language
