LEGAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST (TRANSACTION LAWYER)

Leonteq AG is seeking a Legal Documentation Specialist (Translation Lawyer) in Frankfurt who will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents for structured financial products. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in law, has experience in the financial sector, and possesses knowledge of financial derivatives and structured products.

Job description

As a LEGAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST (TRANSACTION LAWYER) at Leonteq, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents for structured financial products.

Tasks

  • Drafting of legal documents/templates for structured financial products across all asset classes (e.g., final terms/price supplements)
  • Person responsible for multiple base prospectuses
  • Review of legal documents for structured financial products in accordance with internal and external guidelines
  • Management of (regulatory) projects and initiatives on behalf of the department
  • Support with the automation of processes and regulatory documents
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders (law firms, regulatory authorities, and stock exchanges) regarding legal documentation and related processes
  • Responding to regulatory inquiries and questions regarding structured financial products in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders (e.g., Product Management, Middle Office, Trading)
  • Providing internal advisory services regarding the documentation, issuance, and listing of structured products, as well as regulatory and legal implementation issues

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in law with a strong interest in legal and regulatory matters
  • Experience in the financial sector
  • Knowledge of financial derivatives and structured products
  • Strong interest in complex new legal and regulatory issues
  • Willingness to further expand knowledge of structured products
  • A detail-oriented approach with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to manage one's own goals and priorities
  • Fluent Business English and German
