Head of IT Architecture

Tasks

We are looking for an IT architect with a passion for IT innovations and trends—someone who is visionary, solution-oriented, and a team player. The role involves designing and helping to shape cutting-edge banking solutions in a creative environment. Leadership potential and the ability to focus on what matters most are essential.

• Ensuring an adequate foundational structure for making architectural decisions and implementing architectural tasks and technical debt.
• Ensuring compliance with IT standards, governance mechanisms, and documentation guidelines throughout the company.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership role in IT architecture.
• A degree in computer science (from a university, ETH, teacher training college, or university of applied sciences).
• German (business-level) and English (fluent).
• Extensive knowledge of leadership and management.
• Experience in setting up and using EA frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) as well as the associated enterprise repository tools, frameworks, and knowledge.
• Solid technical expertise and experience with end-to-end (IT, cloud, and data architectures), as well as in-depth knowledge of IT systems, application components, security, and software architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information to management (including C-level executives).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
