Head (m/f) of the Credit Office & Recovery, 100%
Glarner Kantonalbank is seeking a Head (m/f) of the Credit Office & Recovery to provide technical, organizational, and personnel leadership to the Credit Office, Recovery, and Real Estate Valuation teams. The Head serves as the primary point of contact for credit-related matters and is responsible for analyzing and evaluating loan applications, as well as implementing regulatory requirements.
Tasks
- Technical, organizational, and personnel management of the Credit Office, Recovery, and Real Estate Valuation teams
- Central point of contact at the bank for credit-related issues
- Analysis and evaluation of loan applications, as well as preparation of loan applications for the appropriate decision-makers
- Credit assessment and approval of credit transactions within the framework of the established authority guidelines
- Professional responsibility for lending operations and real estate appraisals, including legal matters
- Representing the Credit Office or the bank on internal and external committees
- Participation in projects and interdisciplinary topics
Requirements
- Advanced professional training (e.g., banking specialist, degree from a university of applied sciences or a traditional university with a focus on banking/finance) or many years of banking experience with a proven track record
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in the Swiss lending industry, with a primary focus on client advisory services, credit analysis, and debt collection
- In-depth expertise in the lending business and knowledge of the fundamentals of real estate appraisal
- Ability to present complex issues in a logically structured manner and communicate them clearly
