Head of Estate Planning

Tasks

You will lead a new estate planning team operating throughout Switzerland, provide targeted skills development, and support employees in their professional growth.

• You will be responsible for planning, implementation, and achieving goals in the estate planning business, and will drive innovation to foster growth and efficiency.
• Estate planning; acting as a representative; managing assets and liabilities; and handling mandates related to the execution of wills and estate administration.
• As the central point of contact for estate planning matters, you will build a network of internal and external partners, such as attorneys, tax advisors, and notaries.
• You will design and lead professional training and continuing education programs for financial advisors and serve as a consultant in client advisory services.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in probate and inheritance law
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in law (university/ETH, teacher training college, vocational college)
• German (business fluent)
• A law degree or completion of notary training; specialized training in inheritance law, matrimonial property law, and the law of compulsory shares, as well as tax and corporate law.
• Several years of professional experience in estate law and estate planning, ideally at a financial services firm or in a similar role.
• Initial leadership experience in a specialized department, as well as a passion for employee development.
• Conceptual skills in designing new services and processes, as well as a structured, solution-oriented, and networked way of thinking.
