Head of Finance & Operations Philanthropy

Tasks

• Responsibility for the entire finance department and management of the philanthropy division
• Management of proper financial administration, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with legal and internal requirements
• Compliance; Transparency; Reporting
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with external partners, sponsors, and stakeholders
• Supporting the foundation's internal and external communications, particularly with regard to financial and operational issues

Requirements

• Completed university degree in economics, finance, nonprofit management, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in a foundation, NGO, or company with a social commitment
• In-depth knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, accounting, controlling, and reporting
• Experience in operational management and process optimization
• High level of familiarity with the regulatory requirements for foundations in Switzerland (foundation law, tax law, compliance)
• Fluent German, knowledge of other languages (such as English, French, Italian) an advantage
