Zurich Cantonal Bank is seeking an experienced individual to serve as Head of Fixed Income Trading and Sales, who will assume strategic responsibility for this area and develop it further. Head of Trading and Sales Fixed IncomeTasks
- Strategic and operational responsibility for the entire Fixed Income securities department: trading, sales, DCM syndicate
- Strategic and operational development of the business unit by identifying important market changes (opportunities) and customer needs
- Budget, profit and loss, and risk responsibility for the entire area
Requirements
- Several years of experience in fixed income trading (principal risk management) and sales management
- Several years of management experience, both direct and indirect, as well as leadership beyond one's own area of responsibility
- Relevant experience in a role with strategic responsibility for a business unit
- Ability to coach employees and communicate across different departments
- Skillful interaction with stakeholders to create win-win situations for all parties involved
- Very quick comprehension with the ability to connect topics and recognize market opportunities
- Drive and energy to further develop the division and the team in an entrepreneurial manner
- Strong innovative ability with high motivation and resilience
- Assertiveness paired with a pragmatic approach to work and a passion for the market, trade, and customers
- University degree (university or university of applied sciences) or equivalent education with relevant further training (MBA, MAS, CFA, AZEK, etc.)
- Very good knowledge of German and English
