Head of IT and Data Security

Your tasks

In this key role, you will lead the security team in the Product Management and IT department and be responsible for the bank's operational IT and data security. Together with the second line (CISO), you will play an active role in shaping the further development of the bank's security measures. You will be the central point of contact for security-related issues, manage internal and external partners, and make a significant contribution to the stability, resilience, and trustworthiness of the bank.

• Monitoring of networks, end devices, servers, and applications in cooperation with the external Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Further development of SOC use cases for continuous improvement of detection and response capabilities
• Identification and analysis of vulnerabilities, assessment of the associated risks, and initiation and follow-up of appropriate countermeasures

Our requirements

• Completed degree or higher education in the fields of computer science and business informatics, ideally with a focus on IT security
• In-depth expertise in IT security, networks, cloud, IUM, IAM, vulnerability management, incident response, security architecture, standards (ISDS, NIST, CIS, CIS Controls)
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, preferably in the financial services sector
• Strong technical expertise, good analytical skills, a structured approach to work, good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in the event of security incidents.
• Identification of data to be classified and implementation of appropriate protection concepts (e.g., least privilege, need-to-know, data loss prevention (DLP), IAM, PAM)
• Secure application and further development of security guidelines and concepts
• Technical consulting and project support in the areas of cloud, network, and on-premise security
• Collaborating on the further development of the security architecture and bank-wide security standards in close coordination with the CISO and other stakeholders
• Personnel and technical management of a team of two employees
