Head of Credit Department
The position of Head of Credit Department at Valais Cantonal Bank offers the challenge of optimizing and dynamizing the credit department in order to meet the highest standards for customers. The manager assumes overall responsibility for the credit department with around 50 employees.

Tasks
- As a senior manager, you will assume overall responsibility for the credit division, including overall management of the credit-related departments, which comprise around 50 employees
- Head of department and trusted leader for department heads with multidisciplinary skills to optimize the credit process
- Consistent reporting and continuation of the relevant digital transformation of this business division
- Key sparring partner for specialists to deliver expected value to our clients, mitigate bank risk and foster internal collaboration
Requirements
- A higher commercial education (Master's degree and other specialist training) and solid management experience
- Entrepreneurial personality with good interpersonal skills and a knack for change
- Mentally active, pragmatic and curious with strong analytical skills and results orientation
- Very good language skills in German, Swiss German and French (English an advantage)
- Dealing with IT tools and discipline, perseverance and humanity
