Job description: Head of Sustainability (a)

Tasks

• You are our expert in the area of sustainability and risks at AKB and take responsibility for the processing, coordination and implementation of sustainability topics.
• You are responsible for shaping AKB's climate strategy in collaboration with the specialist departments.
• You are responsible for the information and communication strategy on the topic of sustainability. You get involved in discussions with the relevant stakeholder groups.
• You support the specialist departments in dealing with sustainability issues and assist with the implementation of the sustainability strategy both internally and externally.

Requirements

• You have a university degree and several years of experience in the field of sustainability/environmental protection and ideally experience in an entrepreneurial context.
• Experience in the financial sector is a plus.
• You are familiar with the sustainability reporting standards (GRI, SASB etc.) and their implementation.
• You have strong communication and cooperation skills. You are able to prepare complex information in a target group-oriented way and are a good communicator.
• You lead a team of two motivated and committed employees.
