Head of Private Banking (80–100%)
St.Galler Kantonalbank is seeking a leader to serve as Head of Private Banking (80–100%) in St. Margrethen/Rheintal—someone who will take on responsibility, drive innovation, and actively shape the future of the business. The position requires a solid background in banking or business administration, extensive experience in private banking, and proven leadership experience.
Tasks
- As an entrepreneurial and creative leader, actively shape the future of the business and drive sustainable organizational and process development - Confidently represent the private banking market both internally and externally, and position yourself as a credible figure within the regional network - Build a high-performing team, develop talent strategically, and establish a culture based on trust, excellence, and sustainable successRequirements
- Solid background in banking or business administration (Bachelor’s degree from a university of applied sciences or Chamber of Industry and Commerce, with additional professional training)
- Extensive experience in providing support and advice to high-net-worth clients
- Demonstrable leadership experience in private banking or a comparable field, combined with a clear commitment to excellence and quality
- Confident demeanor, strong closing skills, and the ability to work effectively with challenging personalities
- Strategic vision, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to clearly organize complex issues and implement sophisticated solutions
- The ability to strategically expand and sustainably leverage a professional network within the market area as well as domestically and internationally
