Liquid Risk Reporting - Assistant Vice President

The position of Assistant Vice President for Liquid Risk Reporting at Barclays involves strategic project work, technical oversight of external development teams, and the design of reporting frameworks and data management systems. Tasks

  • Assistance with the implementation of strategic projects and technical initiatives in digital banking, with a focus on external development for Barclays and Subsea.
  • Collaboration with suppliers across a broad range of technologies and various disciplines, including architecture, design, and other areas of application development.
  • Developing solutions in collaboration with business users—working together with other departments and our external development partners.
  • Use strong project planning, prioritization, and estimation skills to lead the delivery of key business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to external development teams to ensure the successful delivery of critical business applications.
  • Developing and monitoring controls, as well as providing support for key business controls.
  • Assistance in identifying and designing a reporting system for the financial services entity.
  • Support for managing data feeds and ad hoc reports as needed.

Requirements

  • A proven track record of delivering complex projects in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  • Verifiable experience in the financial services sector—either within a company or in a professional services setting.
  • Proven experience working with global teams across multiple time zones.
