Liquidity Business Analyst - Treasury
Nomura is seeking a Liquidity Business Analyst in London for its Treasury department, who will be responsible for preparing reports, validating data, and supporting liquidity and risk management strategy.

Tasks
- Lead the strategy and implementation for fixed-income and FX options to validate treasury back-office data, as well as limits and regulatory compliance, including daily regulatory operational reports and follow-up with all data providers
- Ensuring that robust data and reports meet the capital reporting needs of line management and regulatory authorities
- Supporting senior management with ad hoc audits (e.g., GDT & LST)
- Prepare, present, and distribute materials for local/regional and department head committee meetings; serve as external support/backup during meetings to assist with day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with GOCF's global and regional stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, including RAB1 and financial reporting, as mandated by the SFC, FCA, and LBA, as well as corporate treasury and bond report finance
- Model updates and scenario simulations based on the financial and business environment
- Conduct periodic ad hoc data quality assessments to validate the capabilities of existing systems
- Monitor data quality across departments based on reports and outputs from various systems; identify the root causes; escalate to the appropriate contact for further investigation
- System projects (BAU), including the creation of user lists for liquidity reports, aggregation, and modeling of underlying figures using specified parameters
- Budget management, including support with monthly forecasting, budget calculations, and year-end variance analysis
- Project Management and Data Migration
- Development of internal tools to optimize and improve operations
- Prepare relevant reports and analyses in all countries and locations to ensure effective efficiency and accuracy in the execution of monthly management reporting processes
- Prepare and submit a final customer list to Treasury for inclusion in the monthly management report package
- Ensuring that the correct list is finalized before the reporting deadlines
- Maintenance of a current internal manual on reporting methodologies
- Development and Maintenance of the Treasury Reporting Methodology Manual

Requirements
- Knowledge of CFA, IB, and FRM (financial background including CFA, FRM, ACII, banking experience, and/or FRM)
- Knowledge of the FIX protocol, ISIM/ISDA, or similar standards
- Intermediate knowledge of commercial contracts (particularly secured overnight financing transactions and derivatives), including the ability to analyze financing parameters and/or understand their impact on financial reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively with management
- Ability to understand and analyze the dataset
- Strong comprehension, awareness, and perspective-taking skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
