Job title: Liquidity Manager (Associate) Department: Treasury Location: Frankfurt

Tasks

- Exposure to complex cross-border liquidity management across multiple jurisdictions - Opportunity to shape liquidity frameworks in a growing European operation - Regular contact with C-level executives and supervisory board committees - Analysis, understanding, and management of liquidity, funding, and interest rate risks of European entities, taking into account financial, legal, regulatory, tax, and operational constraints - Planning and execution of the ILAA P (Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process) and CFP (Contingency Funding Plan), in collaboration with multiple business units and functions within the company - Development and maintenance of complex liquidity stress test models and scenarios

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the financial services industry with a focus on liquidity management, balance sheet management, business analysis, or treasury operations
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Ability to work in a high-attention environment and communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at various levels
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills and the ability to present complex problems concisely
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to navigate across different business areas, legal entities, and regions
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks effectively, and complete them
  • Technical skills:
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel
    • PowerBI
    • Knowledge of Alteryx is an advantage, experience with treasury management systems

Preferred qualifications

  • Professional qualifications: CFA, FRM, or equivalent risk management certification
  • Deep understanding of the European Union's regulatory framework (CRR/CRD IV/V, BRRD)
  • Experience in preparing materials for corporate management and/or regulatory authorities
  • Previous experience in the treasury department of broker-dealers or investment banks
  • Knowledge of German is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Experience with regulatory reporting systems (COREP, FINREP)
