M&A Consumer, Investment Banking Analyst (New York, US)

Tasks

• Developers and authors of pitch materials
• Preparing client presentations and deal documents, including teasers, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations
• Conducting comprehensive financial and valuation analyses
• Developing advanced financial models to determine appropriate capital structures, financial covenants, and sensitivities to key variables
• Preparation of comprehensive industry and company-specific research
• Developing marketing strategies, conducting buyer presentations and target audience presentations
• Managing due diligence and providing transaction support
• Supporting transaction negotiations
• Participate in the recruitment, development, training, and mentoring of analysts and junior staff

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking required
• A bachelor's degree is required; a major in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred
• Extensive knowledge of M&A and capital raising, with the ability to creatively apply these skills to a wide range of client needs
• Solid knowledge of finance and accounting; ability to analyze and evaluate companies
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; expert in Excel and PowerPoint
• FINRA Series 79/7 and 63 licenses are required or must be obtained within the first six months of employment
