M&A, Industrial Analyst (New York, US) ALANTRA
Alantia Partners is seeking an M&A Analyst for the industrial sector in New York to assist with financial analysis, due diligence, and transaction support for mid-market companies. The ideal candidate will have a degree in finance, strong modeling skills, and a willingness to obtain the required FINRA licenses within six months.
Responsibilities
- Develop and create pitch materials
- Prepare client presentations and transaction documents, including but not limited to teasers, confidential information memoranda, and management presentations
- Conduct extensive financial and valuation analyses
- Build advanced financial models that help determine appropriate capital structures, financial covenants, and sensitivity to key variables
- Conduct comprehensive industry- and company-specific research
- Develop marketing strategies, reach out to buyers, and target specific prospects
- Manage due diligence and provide transaction support
- Support transaction negotiations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. A major in business, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of M&A and capital raising, with the ability to apply those skills creatively to a wide variety of client needs
- Solid knowledge of finance and accounting; ability to analyze and value businesses
- Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters; strong analytical skills, specifically DCFs and comparable sets
- FINRA Series 79/7 and 63 licenses are required, or must be obtained within the first six months of employment
