M&A, Investment Banking Analyst (New York, US)

Job Description

Alantra is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to support its M&A and capital raising business at our New York City office. The ideal candidate should have at least 12 months of relevant experience and the ability to contribute to the team immediately.

Tasks

• Conduct industry research and prepare customized company analyses
• Develop financial analyses and models
• Assist in creating client proposals and presentations
• Manage the data room and coordinate the due diligence process
• Recruit, supervise, and develop interns
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or related fields
• Excellent analytical, creative and strategic thinking skills
• Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• FMBA Series 79 and 63 licenses are required or must be obtained within the first six months of employment
