M&A, Investment Banking Analyst (New York, US)

Tasks

Analysts work directly with Alantra’s managing directors in the U.S. and have the opportunity to transfer to other offices in the U.S. and abroad over the long term, if desired. Responsibilities include:

• Conduct industry research and individual company analysis
• Develop financial analyses and models
• Assist in preparing customer proposals and presentations
• Manage the data room and coordinate the due diligence process
• Recruitment, supervision, and development of interns
• Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative, open-minded, and have a strong background in finance and accounting. Required skills and qualifications:

• Excellent analytical, creative and strategic thinking skills
• A team player with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses are required or must be obtained within the first six months of employment
