M&A, Investment Banking Analyst (New York, US)

Tasks

Analysts work directly with the U.S. managing directors and, over the long term, have the opportunity to transfer to other offices in the U.S. or abroad, if desired. Their responsibilities include:

• Conduct industry research and individual company analysis
• Develop financial analyses and models
• Assist in preparing customer proposals and presentations
• Manage the data room and coordinate the due diligence process
• Recruit, supervise, and develop interns
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative, open-minded, and have a strong background in finance and accounting. Additional requirements include:

• Excellent analytical, creative and strategic thinking skills
• Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses are required or must be obtained within the first six months of employment
