M&A, Investment Banking Analyst (New York, US)
Alantra is seeking an M&A and Investment Banking Analyst in New York, USA, who will work directly with the managing directors and be responsible for assisting clients with M&A transactions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance and accounting and possess analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.
Tasks
Analysts work directly with Alantra's U.S. administrative directors. Their responsibilities include:- Conduct industry research and individual company analysis
- Develop financial analyses and models
- Assist in preparing customer proposals and presentations
- Manage the data room and coordinate the due diligence process
- Recruit, supervise, and develop interns
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
The ideal candidate should be motivated, creative, open-minded, and have a strong background in finance and accounting. Additional requirements include:- Excellent analytical, creative and strategic thinking skills
- Team player mentality combined with the ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses are required or must be obtained within the first six months of employment
