Alantra is seeking an M&A, Investment Banking Healthcare Associate (m/f/d) in New York to help execute transactions, service clients and grow the business. The Associate will play a central role in managing deal processes and mentoring junior team members.

M&A, Investment Banking Healthcare Associate (New York, US)

Tasks

  • Manage day-to-day transaction execution across buy-side, sell-side, and capital raising assignments.
  • Lead preparation of financial models, valuations, pitch materials, and client presentations.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and act as a primary point of contact for clients and counterparties.
  • Provide guidance, training, and oversight to Analysts and Interns, ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Support business development efforts, including preparation of pitches and participation in client meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Alantra's global offices to deliver seamless cross-border advisory.

Requirements

  • Strong client-facing skills and ability to present with confidence.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple workstreams.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to supervise and mentor junior professionals.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses required (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
