M&A, Investment Banking Healthcare VP
The position of Vice President in the M&A and Investment Banking Healthcare division at Alantra in New York offers the opportunity to lead complex transactions and contribute to the development of the firm’s healthcare portfolio. The incumbent will work directly with managing directors and partners to manage transactions and build client relationships.
Tasks
The position of M&A, Investment Banking Healthcare Vice President involves the following responsibilities:- Lead transaction execution across buying and selling processes as well as capital raising
- Overseeing financial modeling, valuation analyses, and the preparation of marketing materials
- Management of due diligence processes and coordination with clients, counterparties, and advisors
- Actively contribute to business development efforts, including identifying opportunities, preparing pitch materials, and participating in client meetings
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing analysts and associates to ensure high-quality results
- Supporting the growth of the healthcare practice through thought leadership, industry expertise, and relationship management with companies, investors, and strategic partners
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Strong academic background; bachelor’s degree required (business administration, finance, economics, or a related field)
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and execute transactions, with a proven track record of customer retention
- In-depth knowledge of valuation methods, capital structures, and transaction processes
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint required)
- FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses required (or willingness to obtain them within 6 months)
