Manager, Automation Developer

Tasks

• Developing high-quality solutions for the company using the Microsoft Power Platform
• Business Process Analysis and Development of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse Solutions
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and design efficient business solutions
• Optimizing existing workflows by identifying bottlenecks and implementing automated solutions
• Maintenance and Improvement of Existing Power Platform Solutions
• Ensuring that the solutions meet customer requirements and business needs
• Participation in the development of Power Platform processes for the company
• Continuous monitoring and improvement of the process for using Power Apps
• Promoting the use of the Power Platform within the organization and training new users
• Design, development, configuration, and testing of various customer-facing and internal applications
• Presenting concepts to colleagues, business partners, and executives
• Understanding and effectively explaining processes and the current organizational structure
• Project management and taking responsibility for achieving goals without a broad mandate
• Effective communication with the technical development team and project management
• Collaborate with other teams, including business teams, while prioritizing results
• Collaborating with team members across Teams, customers, and suppliers regarding delivery deadlines
• Management with a diverse team (across functions, geographies, and time zones)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in a professional role, with a focus on automation and/or digital operations
• 5 years of professional experience in a senior management role (business or IT)
• 5 years of professional experience in software development or business analysis (Data Science BS)
• 5 years of professional experience in a professional role
• 2 years of professional experience in a professional role
• Familiarity with business processes (from data entry through automation to final execution)
• Proficiency in agile development methodologies
• Strong, people-oriented, and non-bureaucratic/non-critical leadership experience—a strong focus on fostering a positive work environment
• Clear communication, in a non-managerial yet consistently professional manner
• Ability to maintain professional and diplomatic interactions at all organizational levels
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Python, Java, C#, or other programming languages
• Proficiency in REST APIs, web scraping, and data manipulation
• Familiarity with cloud computing, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with task automation
• Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• In-depth technical knowledge and expertise in web scraping, data collection, data transformation, and human-to-system workflows using a no-code or low-code framework
• Experience with at least two of the following platforms: Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, ServiceNow
• Examples of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) (Power BI is a plus)
• A deep interest in and strong enthusiasm for finance
