Manager - Prudential Reporting
Man Group is seeking an experienced Prudential Reporting Manager to support the company’s prudential regulatory requirements and oversee the preparation, analysis, and validation of calculations, as well as the preparation of regulatory filings and supporting documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in prudential regulation, IT skills, and strong communication abilities.
The role
This role plays a key part in managing Man Group’s prudential regulatory requirements and supports the Head of Financial and Regulatory Reporting. This includes preparing, analyzing, and validating calculations, as well as preparing regulatory filings and supporting documents.Your Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of capital and liquidity models (e.g., operational, investment book, credit risk, funding, and liquidity) and collaborating with the company to review the models and their outputs. - Activation and maintenance of calculations, preparation of capital adequacy reports and risk models, preparation of documentation related to the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) for ICAAP and Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment (ICARAR) for GARA to ensure capital adequacy. - Monitoring regulatory changes and documents, consulting with the company to identify and document relevant changes, and implementing new regulatory requirements and expectations as well as industry best practices. - Ensuring that CIRA and Pillar 3 disclosures (IFRS 9/GSA/ICARA) are met and reported to the company and regulatory authorities. - Preparing monthly prudential calculations, feedback, and regulatory responses for regulated entities/EEA subsidiaries. - Monitor the impact of regulatory changes and changes in business activity on prudential requirements, updating internal documentation as needed. - Serve as a point of contact for other teams within the Finance Department to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient support and information exchange. - Perform other tasks to support the broader Finance team as needed.Your skills / qualifications
- Professional qualifications, e.g., CIMA - Prudential regulation: Experience with CIRA or GIAPP is required. Knowledge of FCA, MiFID, or PRII rules, or similar regulations, would be highly advantageous. - IT skills: Proficient with strong Excel skills and the ability to learn new systems. - Business: Understanding of alternative investment strategies and asset management based on financial markets. Experience in this area would be an advantage. - Soft skills: Ability to confidently interact with multiple stakeholders; ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.We offer
