Service Now GRC Manager

Job Description and Main Responsibilities

- Drive and take responsibility for the implementation and operation of complex, multi-threaded programs that encompass highly secure and scalable financial risk solutions for the business. - Develop and maintain excellent relationships and communication with global stakeholders, other IT teams, and business units. - Take responsibility and accountability for program outcome, including finances, technical solution, schedule, talent, and business outcome and trust. - Break down design decisions into manageable tasks, estimate the tasks, and ensure those tasks are assigned to the team and ensure strong and comprehensive completion of the same. - Create visions and future strategic plans in alignment with NT business and technology strategy. - Promote research and proof-of-concepts and design considerations and obtain stakeholder approval for their implementation. - Mentor the team on delivery (technical and functional aspects) and resolution of issues. - Taking responsibility for communicating with business and technology stakeholders about the progress of features, schedules, estimates, and project deliveries. - Providing advice on alternative options, risks, and the associated impact on business and technology architecture. - Ability to work in an agile execution model, with the ability to integrate continuous integration and continuous delivery frameworks. - Ability to drive and coordinate change requests for development and improvements. - Ability to collaborate with vendors and support staff in executing solutions, enhancements, and support. - Development of new practices and patterns on ServiceNow or another financial risk platform is an added advantage. - Flexibility for training and managing team members with varying skill sets.

Experience/Skills

- Minimum qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
• 15 years of comprehensive professional experience in financial and non-financial risk platforms, GRC module, and IRM implementation

- Required skills:

• Experience in managing large transformation programs in financial risk, preferably GRC

- Useful skills:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage complex program risks and senior management communications
• Ability to lead a medium to large team in the risk area, with the ability to work in uncertain scenarios and establish trust through SME knowledge in process or technology or risk area
• Good understanding of talent management, including suppliers and support staff and related project financing
• Strong understanding of agile working methods
