Manager, ServiceNow IRM

Northern Trust is seeking a ServiceNow IRM Manager in Pune, India, with at least 12 years of experience leading the implementation and operational management of complex GRC programs. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, as well as the ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate stakeholder initiatives.

Job Description and Primary Responsibilities

  • Foster a data-driven culture for the implementation and operational management of complex, multi-tier project programs, ensuring tight control over program risks, issues, and blockers.
  • Partner and consult on ecosystem relationships and communication with global audiences, whether in IT, banking, or financial services
  • Take overall responsibility and accountability for program resourcing, including forecasting, technical staff, schedules, and the business case for the work.
  • Translate design decisions into actionable items, improve the team's ability to actively assign project teams to tasks, and foster a proactive commitment to the success of project execution.
  • Incorporate multiple stakeholder initiatives into the project team and escalate issues that impact the program.
  • Design proposals for new concepts and design considerations, to be used as take-home handouts for program deliverables.
  • Maintain focus on the delivery, technical, and functional roadmap elements that link program systems.
  • Take active responsibility for communication regarding operations and business-related technical initiatives, as well as product ownership of functions, technical architecture, and design deliverables.
  • Provide advice on alternative options, roles, and work performed as part of the business or technical project.
  • Coordinate and collaborate on the results of agenda escalations, with the ability to manage the urgency of escalations and liaise with customs officials.
  • Acts as a clear and confident thought leader for development enhancements and improvements
  • Ability to mentor team members and support a customer-led, milestone-based, and goal-oriented approach, as well as solutions and patterns in the business and technical fields
  • Design cross-functional solutions and patterns in the business and technical fields.

Functional Skills

  • Should be flexible when it comes to upskilling and managing team members with different skill sets

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • 12 years of industry experience in financial or related software publications, GRC models, and tool implementations
